I'm a self-absorbed Bengali-Torontonian;
Fish comes to me raw, wrappend in seaweed, not cooked in curry;
I love watching thunderstorms and rain;
Sad endings make more sense to me than happy ones;
I hate empty walls.

    End of a begining

    The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough.
    It takes up a lot of your time.
    What do you get at the end of it? A death.
    What's that, a bonus?
    I think the life cycle is all backwards.
    You should die first, get it out of the way.
    Then you live in an old age home.
    You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work.
    You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy retirement.
    You drink alcohol, you party, and you get ready for High School.
    You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last 9 months floating... then you finish off as an orgasm!

    George Costanza,
    Seinfeld

    *Usually I like to say I was not a Seinfeld fan(mainly because I hated Jerry), but I was in stitches, not to mention awestruck, with this little George bit. hehehe!*

    But it IS a "death" the other way round as well.

    And hmm...die first? Where do I come from? Drop from the sky? Or they dig me up from a hole in the ground...after removing an epitaph on which is engraved "From here will rise Mr/Ms Blah Blah on the 0th of Nullember" etc etc....

    Curious mind this dude got.

    Sim: he was always my favourite :)

    Zero: very interesting point. I like the rising from the ground idea esp gravestone "from here shall rise so and so on so and so date" , rather than falling from the sky- Ouch. This way, you have people waiting for you with flowers/chocolates (coz you'd be hungry) when you rise up ....as opposed to running around with a net to catch your fall :D
    Maybe we can name it 'Rising' and 'Big O', as oppossed to 'birth' and 'death'. True it is still an end from the other way round, but its not really a 'grim death' from..think about it ...an big ol' orgasm as an ending to your life! I'd be up for that :D lol.
