7:20:55 pm - (pressing elevator button) Can't believe have to stay at work till 7:30pm for the next two weeks! So tired.

7:21:21 pm - Make sure the Ipod is charged for the commute.... really don't want to hear the stupid radio talking about how windy its out there for the 40th time
7:21:22 pm - "Oh Hi" (incredibly handsome guy walks in) ..oh my gawd!!...he is cute....not cute cute....i mean ...wow....what is it about impeccably dressed black guys that find so irresistible? And a really nice smile too.
7:21:24 pm - (slipping one of the earphones in one ear) Okay look cool and detached. wow. and he works just a floor beneath me! Smiled and said hello to a guy find attractive. It was completely natural....this is good. This is progress. Glad wearing the flattering top today and the boots

7:21:28 pm - Stupid stupid girl..Take earphones out!!! He will think are not interested in idle chit chat....worse that are not interested at all. (taking stupid earphones off)
7:21:29 pm - Well maybe he'll think was only admiring the bloody thing and not tuning him out. Wonder if he works late nights too. He must be a new post doc fellow in one of the labs in that floor. Wonder how old he is...looks so fit under that jacket..wonder if he is one of those 'bike to work' guys... mm dreamy! (covert look in his directions)
7:21:32 pm - Great now HE has taken his phone out to appear busy. Damn damn damn. Maybe he's 23 and a masters student.
7:21:35 pm - Yes! put the phone away. good. Now turn right. Promise to look more approachable now.
7:21:36 pm - Oh my gawd. He looked over! He totally glanced over with a smile. Hmm now look friendly, woman. You can do it.
7:21:37 pm- Ugh! stupid old man! Who told you to get into our elevator? Can't you see we are having a moment?
7:21:41 pm- Great now there's three of us...looking ahead...not saying anything. Wonderful ..one of the maintenance guys walks in too. Great. Bloody great.
7:21:45 pm- Almost at the lobby....Oh can't even look at him now. Why am so bad at starting idle chit chat.? Could have said something...anything; "oh working late?" "Oh hope its not raining out" "mm do you wanna grab a drink?" YEAH RIGHT.
7:21:47 pm- Well he didn't say anything either. Maybe am not his type. Maybe he has a hot girlfriend. Maybe he is happily married. Bound to be with my luck. Ah forget it.
7:21:49 pm- Thats it. Am going to get out of the elevator before him. Can't believe convinced self that was something there in the way we both smiled and said "Hi"
7:21:59 pm- He is obviously walking behind self...wonder if he is thinking the same thing that he should have said something. Probably not...oh well his loss. Am going to keep walking. Its upto him if he wants follow and catch up.
7:22:04pm- How bad would it be if looked over shoulders to check? Make it look natural... like it goes with hair flipping.
